So is casemiro he get scores over 1 every ten games
I just don't think he's as good as a lot of people made out .....
Plus for a 6'4 defensive midfielder he was crap in both boxes
And hardly put a tackle in ...
He should be scaring defences half to death at set plays ....
Look at maguire.....miles better at corners & set pieces

Apples & oranges - playing dm but gets forward as instructed. If Berge been told not to then expect zero goals or assist.

Sergio Busquets was DM in one of the best ever footballing teams that dominated with over 100 goals regular yet you will find he contributed to 3-4 goals in 5 seasons there.

He didn't really need to contribute then if the team were scoring 100 goals ...
Can't see fulham getting any were near

You missing the point entirely, he played as a DM & his job was to protect the back line, get on the ball and progress it to the others that can do the damage.

If Berge is being told to play the same way then 🤷🏻.

*I never compared Fulham with that Barcelona team either.

I imagine the same fans that didn't rate Berge are the same ones that are happy for Hamer to go.

We've been a bit spoiled with these players but there's a large section that won't realise it until 10 games in to next season when our midfield is Rothwell, Shackleton, Matos and Peck.

Berge had qualities, but he wasn't a Championship player. He always reminded me of the lion from the Wizard of Oz. He looked the part, but simply had no heart.

A luxury player for another team, but not an effective Championship competitor.

Hamer is different gravy, although his weight and firness, do make me wonder if we have to take the cash.

Both Oli McBurnie and Luke Thomas scored in the 2-2 draw between Leicester and Hull on the night Leicester confirmed their relegation to League One

Scaring defences. I liked his class, but he looked like he should be advertising moisturisers, couldn't scare fuck all.

The problem a lot of people had with him was that he made the game look effortless in how he moved and that translates to troglodytes as ‘lacking effort’.

It’s hard when you’re 6ft 5” to make yourself look like you’re running around like, for instance, Callum O’Hare. It doesn’t mean less effort is going in and it certainly doesn’t make you less effective as a player.

He wasn’t a tough tackling midfielder in the same way that Hamer or O’Hare aren’t. But because he’s massive he can’t get away with it.

Some people are thick mate and couldn’t see a player if their life depended on it… guarantee it’s same ones who said Anel wouldn’t be missed

He's 6'5 surely that should be an advantage in both boxes at set pieces?
I await your response

Harry Soutter started , played the full game and scored for Leicester (v Millwall ) in his first game following injury ,,
Apparently it is still OK to put Harry in a former players thread although he may soon become a current player

Weekend saw goals for Nathaniel Mendez-Laing for MKDons, Callum Robinson (Cardiff) , John Egan for Hull who despite losing still have a chance of going up , Antwoine Hackford's last minute goal for Wimbledon meant they avoid relegation from League One , always nice to see ex- Blades score v Wednesday so well done to Will Lankshear on his brace for Oxford in their 4-1 win , a massive result for Oxford considering they learned just before kick off they had been relegated, be interesting to see what Spurs do with Will do they loan him back to Oxford who will be in League One , or loan him to a Championship club or keep him and let him play in the Championship with Tottenham ??? , Good to see Louie Barry having a good day , hat-trick for Stockport with Oli Norwood getting an assist for his 3rd , , and on his last home appearance for Doncaster Rovers despite Matt Phillips giving Stevenage the lead Billy Sharp signed off with a goal ( he does know where the goal is ) ,

On final weekend of EFL Colin Kazim-Richards does what Crawley wanted him to do and keeps them in The League , Dominic Calvert-Lewin scores again for Leeds , while Will Osula gets his 3rd in 4 games for Newcastle,, back in the EFL Oli Norwood scores a pen at Oakwell ( not sure if it was as good as the one v Wolves at BDTBL) , McBurnie gets both Hull goals as The Tigers get the final Play Off spot ,,, and absolute special mention to Billy Sharp , announced he is leaving Doncaster ,scores on his final home game then follows that with a hat-trick in his final appearance for Doncaster away at Peterborough ,,,

That takes Billy Sharp on to 299 league goals. 👏👏👏
What a career.
And, from his FH interview, after the last home game of our season, he isn’t finished, just yet.

Apparently Billy had a 4th ruled out for offside as well which would’ve taken him to 300

He’s apparently scored a hat trick in his 20’s, 30’s and 40’s and is now the oldest hat trick scorer in the EFL
