Chapman is a good example of why a young player should jump on any good/big contract when it’s offered until he is financially secure.
To get to the level he had requires a lot of dedication and investment, unfortunately for him he might never get the payback

How the fuck did that shower of shit ever get to semi-finals? I'd have Coady (should never have let him go), Che Adams and possibly Jamie Murphy back. Think the Harry Maguire ship has ailed...
Barnet were playing Jamal on the left wing before he signed for Carlisle in January

I wasn't McMahon's biggest fan but being honest he is twice the player Harris ever will be. Harris' greatest achievement, apart from being part of the worst defence I've ever seen for Utd (Swindon away in the play-off semi-final), was doing a comical wave before the Bradford game. Entitled to your opinion of course but IMHO he got off lightly compared to some others in the side around that time who were equally useless e.g. McEveley, Alcock

McMahon may well have been a better individual player than Harris but he was an utter shithouse more interested in conducting a running battle with his opponent than contributing to a team effort. I'm not Clough's biggest fan but shipping out McMahon for Harris was a great but of business.

The best bit about this thread is that it made me realise that MK are in serious threat of being relegated. Lovleh.

Hammond has retired, Harris and Baxter haven't played a professional game since leaving us. Edgar is in the Canadian league and Collins in the USA but he hasn't been playing. Flynn can't get in Oldhams team whilst Sammon and McEverley are in the backwaters of Scotland.

Wonder why we struggled for so long?

McEverley isn’t in the backwaters of Scotland no more.. he’s earning a decent living at Tranmere and is considered a complete bombscare even at that level. Think they’re trying to persuade him to retire..
