Cheers for that, Roy.

Terrible news for Chapman. I would have been happy to have him here this season but I suppose we've little room for wingers. If it's the exact same injury again in his first game back then that doesn't sound good at all.

I had a soft spot for EEL but he was never going to make the step up (because he wasn't that good, basically). Shame to see him struggle but if he's contributed to sending MK Dons down then power to him.

Matt Done at left back...shudder. Have to wonder why you wouldn't play him up front if you're struggling for goals?

Such a shame for Chapman, he had great potential.

It's all gone a bit Pete Tong for EEL after he signed that lucrative contract with Wolves.

No surprises really with the others.

But.... what are Baxter, Sammon, Edgar, Collins, McEveley, Bob Harris and Ryan Flynn up to?
Assume Hammond is still doing his impression of a mannequin.

Hammond has retired, Harris and Baxter haven't played a professional game since leaving us. Edgar is in the Canadian league and Collins in the USA but he hasn't been playing. Flynn can't get in Oldhams team whilst Sammon and McEverley are in the backwaters of Scotland.

Wonder why we struggled for so long?

Really really.

Unless they're struggling for personnel I really can't see why you would rather play him at left back than higher up the pitch.

If you're struggling for goals a guy who scored 3 in 35 for last season's champions wouldn't seem a likely solution.

This guy gets it:

“Matty done has lost of resemblance of being a footballer. He’s gash and i wouldnt be sad to see him go in the summer”

Hilarious to hear that EEL has been played in midfield.

Real shame for Chapman. He's really going to struggle to fulfil his potential now.

It's a miracle we're still here. Removing that lot whilst managing to stay afloat is like having tumours removed form your lymph glands and staging a full recovery.

Flynn also in backwaters @ St Mirren (top of 2nd tier)

I'm still staggered how Harris avoided almost all criticism whilst at Utd. I thought he was absolutely atrocious and way way out of his league in Div 1. Being unable to get a game in Conf North shows his true level

Matty Done playing for a side who scored over 100 goals and 100 points in a league winning side must count for something?

He put more effort in than most players but just lacked the guile at times but he contributed nonetheless, the fact you and some of our other fans fail to see this implies the wearing of blinkers, those blinkers that the same people claimed Matty Done wore.

It’s rich of the Rochdale fans to slag him off but I suppose they probably weren’t happy when he fucked them off before to better his career and probably double his wage when he came to us?

There’s a role for Matty Done in a league one team and it should be up the pitch causing havoc, making defenders make mistakes then letting the more cultured players do the rest, a bit like he did with us and not by playing the wingback role.

Why do some fans fail to see this part of the nitty gritty side of the game that’s required, especially the lower down the league ladder you go and sometimes higher up the league ladder depending on the manager and tactics?

It'll be interesting to do a 'where are they now?' from the side that played Hull in the FA Cup semi-final or even Spurs in the League Cup semi.

Even Murphy can't even so much as warm Brighton's bench now.

Might sound harsh but having read that he's got injury problems and suspect hamstrings, why?
Does he have hamstring problems? I know he has struggled this season with injury but I dunno if it's a common thing with the lad tbh. Last season I saw him as Duffy's understudy and I thought Wilder and Co could be the ones to bring him on.

I think he's up at Rangers on loan isn't he?

Edgar is in the Canadian league

MLS I think you mean, albeit a Canadian club – till recently anyway! He’s had a number of injury issues, and had a mixed week last week where after returning to fitness he was recalled to the Canada squad and also released by the Whitecaps. I imagine another MLS club will pick him up...

Bob Harris played a few games for Bristol Rovers after he left us. Was he out of his depth in L1? He got a chasing from Nathan Byrne, but so have a few other left-backs. But the main reason for liking him is that we swapped him for McMahon.

How the fuck did that shower of shit ever get to semi-finals? I'd have Coady (should never have let him go), Che Adams and possibly Jamie Murphy back. Think the Harry Maguire ship has ailed...

I wasn't McMahon's biggest fan but being honest he is twice the player Harris ever will be. Harris' greatest achievement, apart from being part of the worst defence I've ever seen for Utd (Swindon away in the play-off semi-final), was doing a comical wave before the Bradford game. Entitled to your opinion of course but IMHO he got off lightly compared to some others in the side around that time who were equally useless e.g. McEveley, Alcock
