Didn't go to the game so won't vote but B is our standard formation is it not?

It's obviously B, as it was last season but people keep saying we are playing with two holding midfielders when we aren't.

The problem is that Basham isnt as good going forward as Coady was. McCarthy doesn't bring the ball out like Maguire did and nobody in the squad attacks half as well as Brayford.

That's why the 1-0's of last season have turned into 1-1's and the 0-0's into 0-1's.

You're right, but Coady wasn't as good as Coady going forward (or even regularly in the team) at this stage of last season, nor was Brayford in the squad yet.

Basham is a lot like Coady in how Coady found himself in one great goalscoring position every game and took ages to get off the mark. Once he did he chipped in with a healthy number of goals so hopefully Basham can do the same.

What we need is a talisman like the Beard to galvanise the team and fans from January. Not convinced that's so easy to do.

Yes. About 30% seem to get it wrong though. Against Plymouth we changed it and played (A) for the first 20 minutes (Baxter behind Higdon), then changed to 4-4-2 with Murphy alongside Higdon.
