Forget being a bladey blade

Chris Wilder has given us 3 fantastic seasons. I love the bloke and won't ever give him shit whilst he's our manager as I will always support the team. However I will recognise faults, and that being said it's time for him to go, it really is. I've never been the type to call for a manager's head, I'm old fashioned in that sense as my Dad brought me up that way - Man United stuck by Fergie and generally if you hold your nerve managers ofthe come good.

Managers also stagnate as do club's. The facts are he hasn't been brilliant this season, and the last 3 seasons don't change that. There's a difference between allowing a bad run to foolishly sticking by someone clearly not uobto task anymore. If this was any other regular job and someone was performing this way they'd be gone.

The argument for allowing him to rebuild, I don't have faith in him to do that I'm afraid. Our failure in this transfer window is the main reason we are struggling, no competent cover for key players, and a squad that is so rigid we cannot change formation. Before anyone asks I don't know who to get in, but they can't possibly do any worse. Forget bladey bladeness, it's time to be sensible and realistic for the good of our football club. The longer this goes on, the worse our chances of bouncing back next season will be

I never thought I would see this happen under his tenure, but we are just utterly crap now. We can't do one thing well anymore, and the swashbuckling, afraid of noone mindset has been replaced by a timidness, and some kind of inferiority complex about being in the league.

He will always be remembered for the good times he brought us, but I would hate to see his legacy tainted by the 'worse team in history' tag that is looking ever more likely. If he stays, he can only avoid this happening by changing things drastically, and getting some creativity back into the set up but I am not sure that he is willing to do this. You can bet your mortgage that a LCB will be his top recommendation to the board for January.

Prove me wrong Sir Chris and sign 2 creative midfielders, it's what we need more than anything and we might just get a tune out of Brewster.

It really is upsetting to see, he is hurting in his interviews and I have no doubts about his effort and committment to the cause. Never imagined this scenario, I thought we would struggle but not to the extent.

Too much money spent on inadequate squad filler players. The £12m spent on the Derby pair, that should've been spent on a creative mid. I genuinely don't think our defence is so bad, they've kept the scores down. I feel they are left badly exposed by the midfield, which is also not supplying the strikers.

I have read reasons put forward by posters here and elsewhere.
I have no idea what the reason(s) can be.
Maybe it is simply that he thinks with recruitment in the next couple of weeks he will retrieve, in some way, our season.
If that is the case will he be recruiting for the positions which should have been strengthened over the summer? If so, why didn't he do it then?

hes maken too many mistakes tactics and selection wise 352 is gone and has been since joc went out osborn is not a midfielder hes a good left back thats it baldocks no good as a wing back but a good right back same as enda but hes lost his no fear approach hes beaten before we kick off and i want to see the old chris wilder back in august
