Is there any reason why we seem to have a disproportionate number of midweek games against Forest and Leicester over the past few years. All four games are midweek this season and I'm sure I remember numerous night matches, particularly away, in recent times.

Am I just dreaming it, or is it just coincidence?

Forest has certainely been a midweek match away since they got back in the Champ.
Odd really since this is one of the better attended matches so it should be on a Saturday.

Then again Wendy get first day at home, last day at home, and most of the big bank holiday fixtures every year (except when it's a leak year) so this is not surprising.

The only thing I can think of is that it might be down to Police advice. I know they are consulted on when certain games should probably go ahead, although I may be wrong.

Either way, you're right, it is a bit of a pain!

Alternatively it could be because they are close by to make it easier for fans to travel to/ From Leicester/ Nottingham instead of the likes of Reading, Cardiff or Brizzle.

They're clearly thinking of the fans pockets.... yeah right!

Probably to try and cut down on long distance midweek games. I'd rather have Ipswich away on a Saturday and Leicester away on a Tuesday than the other way around.
