My forecast for end of season using this tool is:

1. Blades 95 Pts
2. Fleetwood 82
3. Bolton 74
4. Scunthorpe 74

The tool is a MS Excel spreadsheet. Fill in the orange scores the "For" score being the team named at the top. Don't edit the yellow cells as they auto update, including the ones where teams play each other (e.g. Bolton's fixtures against Fleetwood and Scunny).

Enjoy, and if someone is whizz enough on Excel to create an automatic forecasted league table without having to play around with the Sort menu, please feel free.

Didn’t the BBC do one of these in the past, or do they still do it?

Your formula's are screwed. Doesn't add Fleetwood and Bolton up right because you only go down to Row 12.

Any road, i've got this:
  1. Sheff Utd 93
  2. Fleetwood 86
  3. Bolton 85
  4. Scunthorpe 80

...just put in a fairly pessimistic set of results and still come up with 88 points... ;)

No Game N/A -
Swindon A 1 1 -1
Charlton H 0 1 -0
Oldham A 1 1 -1
Millwall H 1 2 -0
Coventry H 2 0 -3
Northampton A 1 0 -3
Port Vale A 2 0 -3
Bradford H 2 2 -1
MK Dons A 1 1 -1
Chesterfield H 3 0 -3
No Game
Current Points 72
End of Season Points 88
