For those who walked out early.....

I walked out, not that i feel i have to explain but here's some of the reasons:

- Midweek game means i have to drive from Leeds, this particular game took me nearly 2 hours to get to due to traffic being utter toilet in Leeds
- After arriving later than i had planned I then had to park half way up Eccy road meaning i was 15 minutes late into the ground
- I then watched the worst defensive display i've seen for some time
- plus an additional 7 minutes at the end of the first half
- As the fifth went in there was 12 minutes left to play so I decided that i may be best served starting the 20 minute walk back to the car in the hopes i could make it back home before 10:30pm
- Not that it's anybody's business but i had a train to catch the following morning at 6:36.
- I also stayed and watched till the bitter end at games like Fleetwood (repeat ad nauseam) Walsall, Southend, Bury so i reckon i've earned 12 minutes of my life back no?

Get the crucifix out for me, i must be a god awful blade.
Your wasting your time mate. There's a thread like this every couple of months asking 'why do people leave early'. Everybody knows why people leave early, it's not about reasons, it's about taking some kind of perceived bigger blade moral high ground and having a pop at 'our support'.

You certainly don't have to explain, but I think on a forum like this, it is good to learn from others. I have given my reasons for staying to the end, but can't compete (not that it is a competition) with your dedication. When I was a student and living away from Sheffield, I don't think I went to a single United match in term-time, except when United were playing near where I was living. I do think the current squad has done enough to warrant our support, but not everybody is in a position to do everything.

by all means fair play to those that do stay - I don't mind at all if other people's bladey cocks are bigger than mine. I use mine how i see fit. What i won't have is people questioning the support if i choose to bugger off 12 minutes early. While i'm in that ground stood at the back of the kop, not sat down like 90% of the ground i'm 100% committed to the cause and those boys get my full undivided backing - maybe that ought to be under the microscope, when we were 1-0 up it was like a library - I didn't hear the other sides of the ground at all until Fulham went 2-1 up. We ought to be swinging from the rafters each week at what we've been lucky enough to see - try as small segments do to get the songs going they rarely make it past row T before they've been snuffed out.

That's is a Bladey Blades post though Seph.

we should ship WWEwrestling supporters and Darts fans

wednesday cheat apparently , they have microphones fitted near the back of the kop and they send it round the ground when the teams come out

....call yourselves Blades?
The first time we have looked to be out of a game and you desert? The management and especially those players who fought like tigers to the bitter end deserve better.
To the fans who stayed, we almost pulled it off due to the fans spurring the lads on. U.T.B!
Don’t
People that walk out early should be banned for life. Maybe even jailed.
Snipers.

I was going to post something similar but the fact you've beaten me to it means I wasn't the only one to be annoyed by it.

I've never had a go at our fans in my life. I'm not really going to do it now because people pay their money and take their choice.

But for fucks sake. Really?

After everything this group of players and staff have given us since last year, all they've done for us fans after being down in the shit for so long, and the effort you can see on the pitch tonight...you want to walk out 25 minutes early?

Besides missing goals, they need ALL our support when we're up against it and those that left weren't willing to give it. It doesn't make them lesser Blades, but frankly I find it a bit spineless. At the time I was furious, but now I'm just disappointed.

Up to thi, I guess.
I stayed,I’m going to heaven.

Well they do say an empty vessel makes the most noise.

That is so wrong. It's just that us non leavers really don't get it! No moral high ground, no bigger Blade bollocks we just don't get it.

No matter how many times people try to explain.

I've never left early, always hoped there would be a "Bigger Blade" medal handed out by McCabe et al at the foot of the Kop.
