Dear all,

I have a colleague at work who's other half has recently set up a fledgling business selling football related paraphernalia (prints, T-shirts, mugs), & there's 1 or 2 items that may be of interest to Blades fans. They have quite a nice retro style & of course there are lots of other teams catered for as well, including 'the other lot! over at S6' (see link below).

I have already run this by Linz in case I was stepping on toes/breaching forum protocol. I have no vested interest in the undertaking & am certainly not on commission or anything like that! I said I would see if i could post the link on the forum as a favour. Anyway, it would be interesting to see what you think?!?!

They look really smart. My only negative would be that the use of lower case letters where there should be capital letters would do my nut in so I probably wouldn't buy one. I hope plenty do though, thanks for sharing.

I thought exactly the same tbh! If a few people reply, I'll feed back to my colleague then she can pass the comments on to her other half.

Really nice illustration work! I would also say the same as Keef, the lower case type needs to be amended. I would also say that the sky colour is really nice but doesn't work for the type at the top - I'd changed from teal to black/dark grey and then I would absolutely buy one for my studio.

Hi MKY, the tee shirts looks good but like Keef and Designblade have said the capital letters really need to be on to make it look better

Have they got any plans to design any other Blades tee shirts.

Neue haas grotesk/Helvetica for that nice retro Haynes Manual look.

Otherwise I like the style.

Hi there, i'm not sure but what i'll do is feed back the replies to my colleague in a couple of days. I agree about the capital letters, i've no idea why he's gone for the lower case approach!

Dear all,

just passing on some info from Steve (the owner of Football Stadium Prints) via my colleague (his other half):

He's noticed a spike in traffic/business since I posted the link on the forum the other day. He's incredibly grateful to anyone who made a purchase as this will help to support him in his venture. He says in total he's giving it 2 years to see whether it'll be viable in the long term - he's currently 1 year in.

Steve also says that if anyone has any suggestions then he can be contacted via email & Twitter - details are on the website. He's also apparently amenable to the idea of producing bespoke pieces, e.g. getting people's names added to prints.

thanks all for your interest & support

UTB!
