Unfortunately a few did leave and even more when 2nd went in, he's not wrong. We sit on SS and you could see JS emptying

Last seasons trauma is still fresh in some fans eyes.Hes making a mountain from a molehill! Most football fans are emotional about there team ! Fans still hurting and deep wounds take time to heal.
Not making excuses and I always stay till the end ! I get it though it still hurts last seasons demise!!

Always stay till the end, the other night was embarrassing though. We might have lost but they played well but hardly anyone there at end to acknowledge them

Sorry to correct you but he's spot on about the ground emptying after their second goal.
That surprised me. There were 5 minutes plus added time to go and we were only one goal behind. I thought, wrongly, that we had a chance to equalise, so couldn’t see why so many were leaving. After the third goal I could.

Maybe some sensed trouble afterwards especially having to meet the l..ds fans head on going down Bramall lane, I stayed till the end and their fans stayed to cheer their team afterwards thankfully, allowing a quick getaway

My train left @ 22:07
I was with my young daughter we simply had to be on that train so she could get some sleep before school
I told her we had to leave bang on 90 mins
When the 2nd went in we left ....as we hadn't much choice.
I'm sure there was lots of kids in john street stand .
It was different in the 80s when we kicked off at 1930

Agree some fans left when they scored their second but, the mass exodus happened when the third went in, myself included.

Thanks to Sky and their 8pm KO time I have to get riddle on to catch my train, at 70 my riddle isn't as fast as it used to be, and now they've moved the Coventry game to 8pm on a Friday night, they're killing the game.

We can troop out all the usual excuses, some genuine, some not, but no escaping the fact that the mass exodus after Leed’s second was poor and embarrassing.
Ok, if our players had stunk the place out, but they hadn’t.They gave it their all, and ran a very good Leeds side close, and about half of our lot couldn’t be bothered to stay on for another 5 minutes. If the players would have shown the same commitment, we’d have gone down much more heavily. We were a goal down with 5. minutes to play, would it have killed some to stay and show em some support, in trying to get a goal back. It’s a sad fact but our players such as Peck, are way more committed to the cause than a lot of our fans are.
