Not only were the substitutions perplexing (injurys or not), the roles assigned to the players that came on were mind boggling. Flynn given a central position behind the fron 2, Baxter a deep plying midfielder and Reed out on the right.

Such poor tactics are unacceptable, and despite Adkin's previous achievments (I was happy when he signed up for the job), I've got to say that his team selection, tactics and substitutions are really making me question if we've got the right man. If he continues making bad subs that result in us throwing away points, there will soon be a clamour of fans calling for his head, and I will be one of them.

P.S.: Che Adams and JCR must be very demoralised right now, I wouldn't blame them if the put in transfer requests.

You really do have to wonder what Adkins is doing half the time. I'm questioning it more every passing game tbh.

I keep saying .."he's the right man for the job just needs time .." Then he goes and does that today . Bonkers . The subs and the tactics cost us 2 points today end of.

I recon if things fall into place Adkin's has offers for Adams and JCR and doesn't want to risk them in case of injuries affecting a chain deal. That's the only reason I can explain those three crock-o-shit substitution decisions
