If any of you fancy a bet for next season then I'd suggest having a few quid on Rotherham United for promotion.

I have some very close links with them and get some very genuine information. From what I hear they are going for it in a big way. Watch out for some of the signings they will be making.

Snap up the decent odds whilst you can.

The obvious issue being that their manager is possibly the most odious man currently working in football.

5s is the best price available, the bird may already have flown.

Fleetwood 7/1 2nd favs

Cheers Jim, 5/1 not a bad tempter though, well worth a decent bet.

Fleetwood backed by a wealthy chairman aren't they?

I find it hard to justify these bets that take a year to come good, Id rather have the cash and then put less on a long shot that Ill get the result within a week, the only time its probably worth it is doing an early season one with Paddy Power on one of the promoted teams to get relegated as they have a habit of paying out after a few games, either that or be continuingly laying the bet and replacing it on something like betfair as the odds are changing every week

Suppose it depends on your betting philosophy.

£50 on a 5/1, £300 back at the end of the season, to me is a decent investment/gamble.

Don't get me wrong, if I hadn't the links with RUFC then I doubt I'd be having the bet. But they seem extremely positive and confident.
