Been today , not the best but certainly not wrist slitting like last season . Certainly enough signs for need to be optimistic . I know all the doom mongers will be having a field day - we all know who they are , but there is a long way to go yet ! By far and away the biggest plus for me was Fleck . Have said it on another thread but her looked like a lower league Jack Wilshire . ( Hopefully less injury prone ) Everything he did was positive , full of energy, forward thinking , attack minded and just pleasing to see !! Well done to that man !! Ps the other little Scottish one who came on is quite frankly useless !!!
As ever UTB!

Thanks for posting mate certainly beats the negativity from us who never went. Sounds like fleck was a positive and will have plenty to offer this year.

Agreed. Fleck, Duffy and even Basham, they all got stuck in and looked to be positive. Really pleased with those three, pity about Done!!

I had Fleck as our second best player behind O'Connell who oozed class for me. More +ve than -ve but we have to sort the -ve - Long in particular. Goal not directly his fault but his flapping at their set plays caused the panic that led to a desperate clearance straight to Jay Spearing's right foot.

Can't imagine what CW sees in Scougall , but I suppose he is short enough for CW to look him in the eye.

He was impressive in what was a hard first game for him against three tough opponents in Bolton's midfield. He more than punches his weight physically and has a lot of quality. He can't do it on his own though, we need more alongside him, and that includes on the left wing.
