Flawless performance

Reminded me of brentford at home last season, without the sending off and the lucky penalty for us.

Let them have the ball, they cant hurt us. When we get the chance, we play properly.

lol 'flawless'? We were pretty awful going forward and with the ball, our midfield was non-existent and we barely put two passes together.

However.

Who the hell cares its the result that matters!

Totally shut them down.
They were getting so frustrated the manager started to crack and put on 6 attackers.
One attacking mid Sigurdson,1 winger Walcott 4 strikers Richarlison,Kean,Iwobi and Tosun sacrificed their RB. Wilder countered with Osborn to exploit the left side.Forced them to go down Baldocks side good luck with that.Baldock had Digne wrapped up nicely for most of today.Walcott didn't bother Stevens in fact he exploited that on the counter with Moose and McBurnie. What a huge 3 points makes up for missing the points against the Saints.

Garth Crooks u cunt were 8th in the league !!

He's slowly changing his tune: "Chris Wilder is winning me over. His teams are not very sophisticated but blimey they are professional and they stick to it. They are surprising me. If they continue to play like that, they will stay up - not in the top half - but they will stay up."

Not impressed with the bit in bold, though to be fair we weren't at our best today offensively

I actually thought today was our poorest performance, but delighted with the win. Egan was superb, felt Callum Robinson didn't take his chance to prove himself though. Maybe give the Mousse a start next week?

It wasn't flawless but defensively I thought we were flawless. Egan was a fucking man mountain.

First time he's captained us isn't it?

Usually Sharp, Norwood, Bash, think it went to Egan today.

Deserved, what a beast. Got anymore Brentford? I'll take a RB of his quality for £4m.

Their next two matches, lose both and Bill will be looking for a new man in charge.

Game plan executed to perfection.

Flawless performance.

That is all.

Oh and Mousset, what a player, clinical
Yep we were excellent against a decent side today.

Thought that second goal summed us up perfectly. Mousse grounded with a challenge in our own half, ball breaks to Lunny who plays a perfect ball to Mousse after he’d picked himself up and bust a gut to run the entire length of the half and tuck the ball past the England keeper

Desire, determination, quality and most of all no rolling about on the floor

Embarrassing for Everton to lose at home to such an awful Championship team full of mediocre players coached by their local PE teacher. Sorry, but Sheffield United are a horrible side & bring down the quality of play in the league.

A disgusting result & Marco Silva has a lot of explaining to do.

To be fair he has a point today, you could hardly call it sophisticated. But again who cares, we won.

I'm over the moon with the result but I don't see how you can call that flawless. For the entire first half we were everything we laughed at other teams for thinking we were going to be: we hit it long, we didn't hold any possession, we were hopeful, we were a bit dirty.

Weirdly, I think that's our worst performance and best result so far.
Exactly how I saw it, but I'm absolutely delighted.

Exactly my thoughts, have a like. :D

Amazing result and great backs to the wall performance but I dont believe for one minute that was the gameplan.

I know we've moved up but I've not seen us have so little of the ball under Wilder.

Either way its about the points on the board come May.

Not exactly the Mexicans pounding the Alamo, more like an inebriated Speedy Gonzalez and some of his mates having their first go at Subbuteo. We were awful. Well done Sheffield United and I hope you turn over a few other teams who think they are better than they are.
At least we won the diving competition. Richarlison take a look at yourself. You're becoming an embarrassment.

Kenwright should be on the next flight out to Kabul and force them Bin Laden's to let us
have their Manager. Looked like a football manager and not a shop window dummy.
Disappointed by their support. Very, very quiet.

I think most of my thoughts have been echoed in a lot of the responses. The first half performance was poor. We offered nothing in attack and even defensively I felt we switched off a lot and were often scrambling. I had just said, ‘“when Everton eventually score what are we going to do, we can’t keep just knocking it long, this is dreadful.” Next thing we’re in front.

2nd half we improved greatly and gained a foothold in the game. We got up the pitch a bit more and believed in ourselves. Everton got desperate and they just got poorer and poorer. Really poor to be honest. We still didn’t play brillIantly though. We were careless in possession and the gap between our midfield & forwards was huge.

Bit concerned by McBurnie’s output again. It really wasn’t good.

But a big shout out to Egan. MOTM by some distance. Superb.
