United's Sky Bet League One home encounter with Stevenage has been brought forward.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Easter Saturday (19th April) but will now be played on Good Friday (18th April) with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The change is to enable Nigel Clough's side more preparation time for the Easter Monday (21st April) visit to Tranmere Rovers.

This fixture change is United's second of the day. The Blades will now travel to face Port Vale on Friday 25 April (7.45pm kick-off) - this is to avoid a fixture clash with Stoke City in the Potteries region the following day.

Almost every other team in League 1 is playing that day, bit weird if you ask me.

Bugger.

I booked tix for Dancing on Ice as a treat for the Mrs on Good Friday a month ago as I thought we weren't playing that night.

Fucking Ice Dancing!

Fuck me dry :(

It's the slippery slope I tell thee.
