From a neutral point of view the 3-3 draw against Man Utd must have been the best game we have had in the Premier League. If only Mousset could have shown more consistency and effort he would have been some player. He was superb that day and we should have bern more than two up. Man Utd brought their kids on and they overwhelmed us for 15 minutes, Brandon Williams looking like a world beater. Mcburnie's late equaliser made up for everything though, what a game!

Great match but also the most disappointing in some ways...stood there watching us 2-0 up and should have been many more, shaking our heads in disbelief at how the hell all our League One lot were dominating in the Prem and looking at Europe. It was probably the one game where we threw away a lead and 2 points.

The best memories in my head from that season (or half season) are Arsenal home and away, and City away- genuinely living with and at times playing them off the park. We'll never forget them few years.

Think my favourite game from that season was the 1-1 away at Spurs.
Better results that season including bossing them 3-1 at the lane and I know there was all the shite about Lundstram's toe and the disallowed goal, but we turned up what was then an established top four side and looked so class.
We could and probably should have won that game, not only the dodgy disallowed goal but Lundstram hit the post in the first half. But it was McGoldrick's performance that carried us that day. He was utterly unplayable. Looked like a £50m number ten.

I think the best Blades game from the 2019/20 season was the 3-0 win v Burnley. Played brilliant and could have had 5 or 6 that day if we hadn't took the foot off the gas in the second half.

The Burnley game was our most comprehensive performance. The Man Utd game was the one where we took on one of the big boys and for 60-70 minutes outclassed them. Not in a great backs to the wall underdog playing out of its skin type performance, we were a better side with players playing better than them.

Man Utd got away with that one. 9 times out of 10 we’d have won that game at that (very fleeting) point in time.

I'd have to say the 3-0 victory against Chelsea was the most comprehensive performance.

They finished level on points with Man Utd that season in 3rd and 4th.

Think that was my favourite as well of that season, the 3-3, though the 1-0 v Arsenal and the demolition of Burnley were memorable.

Oh but for fucking covid ....

times.webp

Yeah I was thinking of games in front of actual crowds, and ones I went to in particular.
