Is a major issue and a reason we concede so many late goals, Larouci was blowing out of his arse when he went off and hes not alone. Im sure this is a major concern Wilder will be looking at. Hecky had a poor team behind him, and lack of fitness will be a major part of so many injuries. Wilder has already instilled a mental discipline and organisation into the players, we arent fit enough to also do the flair and attacking part of the game over 90 minutes. Im sure we will get stronger at this week by week, and maybe this is one of the reasons players looked like they didnt have faith in Heckingbottom.

Agreed and Wilder said it tonight. It's about getting everyone knowing what they should be doing and being more organised first and foremost.

CW on the starting XI "I should imagine the majority of Sheffield United supporters when they saw that team were thinking 'what's the manager thinking?' but I've seen enough in the players recently and I thought Anis and Larouci deserved that opportunity and they came in and did a good job for us. We have to have a structure, and of course we have to pass the ball a little bit better and there's an ironic cheer when we've had a shot, but we have to get one thing first in to the players which is when you come here you have to be really hard to beat because there's a couple results this year where we haven't been hard to beat."

I think fitness is the next issue to tackle and it explains why he left Hamer and McBurnie out of the starting 11, where as Hecky would have started them both and have them both huffing and puffing at 45 minutes.

He said on another interview how he’s not had time to really train and work with the players as games have a quick turn around.

Hard to work on fitness etc

We had a bad pre season so we are far behind everyone else.

Hoping one of our big money signings switches from Doner to Chicken!! Fat little bugger!

Having a keeper who can actually get the ball to one of our players would be a help, plus a couple new players who can keep the ball better, not to mention being some added athleticism of their own, should help lessen the workload.

Nothing energises players like getting results though, seasons still alive

He should be in better shape for sure. He's been in the PL for a few months now.... maybe he should start taking it a bit more seriously

Alternatively, he can stay fat and live in the championship, and be a big fish there for a few more years
