First Time Post

Hello

This is my first post on this forum.

I have been watching United since the late 1950's and have seen some great players in the red and white stripes.

Whilst I cannot fault this team for their effort I wish they would keep the ball a little better than they do.

However if Gary Speed is given time and money I think he could sort the team out and make sure we are not involved in a relegation scrap.

I look forward to commenting on a fine victory on Saturday!!!

Well Beighton Blade. He made his debut aged 17 and scored a great goal against Spurs and from then on he was a player that the fans could hang their hat on - which is what we need right now. Will also be remembered for the famous quote from I think Barry Davis of 'a quality goal from a quality player' against West Ham. He could pass a ball with either foot and was an excellent dribbler - a skill which is lacking in a lot of players today - the ability to go past an opposition player but with the ball.
