First signing must be Brooks

Tried and tested, affordable, one of the sparks we desperately need and now surely looking for a return both to the blades and to the top flight.
Any other comparable expenditure must surely be more risky.
Yep, loves United, knows the club inside out and is dying to return, even if it's on less money.

All he needs is a good pre-season.

We neither play wingers or the number 10 ( Duffy role) so he wouldn't fit into the team.

Need a creative but athletic midfielder, goal scorers up front, better backup wing backs and a backup for Bash, also either Hendo come back, or a new keeper

I'm interested in your point about him being affordable? How much, realistically, would you be prepared to pay Bournemouth for him and and him in salary?

Unless your answers are north of £40m and £75k/week (and feel that Utd can indeed afford both), I'm afraid your point may prove to be incorrect.

Personally, I feel there are better value options that would into the current formation better than Brooks

I cannot answer wether he is over his injuries or not but he looks a very good footballer ,good movement off the ball and confident with it , right money and wages, why not?

I liked Brooks but don't think he is robust or strong enough for our style. We certainly need his kind of skill for taking defenders out of the game by pure skill rather than death by passing.. We only saw him for a brief period and he had a good start at Bournemouth but missed virtually an entire season there this time around.

Outstanding as a replacement to McGoldrick in the roving number 10 role. Exactly what we need in terms of the ability to drift around the pitch, beating players with the ball, breaking lines and creating chances for the strikers. Sadly I’d expect him to go to a top club this summer, likely Man Utd.

the relentless obsession with former players continues with united fans.

It's about time we looked at bringing Brown back, if we could just get him in the positions he found himself in for 7 months of his career we could get 20 goals a season out of him

Can someone do a list of all the ex Blades still playing and create a random thread generator which suggests we sign them just to save these posters time
