Did it feel like that to anybody else?

With Couttsy out, it just felt to me that the side were playing trying to get used to each other and Tufty was fiddling with it trying to get combinations that worked.

If you look at our starts to both of Tufty’s 2 seasons they had the same exploratory feel - and we know what happens next!

Look out for the fireworks.

I felt Wilder started with the team trying to play its usual way but minus Coutts.
After a few minutes passed where I doubt Lundstram even touched the ball it was clear that wasn’t going to happen so we were left trying to adapt as the game wore on.
Numerous subs meant that we ended up with midfield players at the back, which ultimately cost us the last two goals. A defender Lundstram is NOT!

What was needed was some urgency and to replace those who were ineffectual. Lundstram and Sharp would have been off and Carruthers and Brooks on for me. More pace and skill in and different problems for their poor defence to deal with.

From the Facebook stream Fleck was awesome.
I really think that CB/RWB pairing of Bash and Freeman is the thing that we are missing the most. They seem to have the best reading of each other in that zone and we also miss that pairing when going forward.

All of our problems were down the right hand side - mind you whether that was to do with us rather than the fireball that was coming at us down that side is questionable.
