Yep, Brighton’s model is being used at Hearts. It’s paying off already, but Tony Bloom reckons it takes 3+ years before the full benefits start to be realised. Not something that any sort of instant judgement can sensibly be made.

So an ideal time to start it is in our final year of parachute payments I guess then. It's clear many of them are miles from top end championship quality. You don't need instant results necessarily but you don't need to destroy a set up that's essentially been top half championship at worst since getting back into the league nearly a decade ago now.

Armstrong, Dobbin, Jebbison, Vukcevic, Small, Devine, Gibson would all be starting/getting good minutes for United and are more athletic and dynamic than our players. All signed under Heckingbottom

If Canon has not fired a few in by Jan then we have to get him away on loan to get his confidence up. Mind you, I think enlisting him in the army and make him do basic training might be better for him. The boy swans about without a care in the world.
Marsh deserves a chance but he will go on loan.
One is a strange situation, impact sub would be good fit, Osula seems to be doing OK at Newcastle in that role. Would have him back in a heartbeat.
It is still early days for this decision, no doubt there will be a few players that come good or fall off a cliff before then, Sam Mcallum has done bloody well last few games for example.
