With the injuries we picked up tonight we could do with a couple of weeks off to get them fit.

Let’s be fair, we played Fulham and they were full strength. We’ve got Didsy and McBurnie out with Covid, Davies out for personal reasons and JOC, Brewster both injured. presumably Mousse is injured too.

We’ll get more out with Covid whether they’re vaxxed or not, so we just have to manage it and hope we face sides who’ve got similar numbers of players out.

I’m happy for us to get as many games in as possible. This thing isn’t going away, just need to keep the mentality right in the squad and manage the situation. Sides that do that will have a quieter end to the season

It could be a separate thread about squad depth and covid but I feel we are better placed than most.

We've just beaten the league leaders away from home. That in itself would be an achievement.

For all the 'poor Leeds, they've got injuries' we have to listen to as the narrative of their current demise, as you say we were without Olsen, O'Connell, Davies, Guedioura, Brewster, McBurnie, McGoldrick, Mousset. That's not 8 kids. That's 7 players who legitimately have either been the manager's first pick or could well feature in any poster's first XI.plus Guedioura who is also a senior pro, not withstanding we have to remove Gibbs-White half way through proceedings.

Apply that absentee list to any other team i.e. take the first choice keeper, 2 first choice central defensive options, then remove 4 strikers and see how they shape up. Then remove their best midfielder to boot.
