don't think so quite, I was a University Lecturer on a 3 to 4 day week but it was just term time. Happily I'm on less now!

Yeah they've really gone to town on those and removed a lot of the lower "point" contracts where they they had to cover the holidays.
Bet you have do your planning in your own time too? You have my most sincere sympathies VP, what was at one time a fine career which has now been ruined for he majority by years of administrative mis-management.

I blackmail them, they pay me off.....wretched stuff.

You will already know that actually teaching students is way down their list of priorities....

and yes, no pay for planning lessons.

Not sure if that's an insult about the rest of my posts on here.
My wife was a lecturer but decided to quit last year because she wasn't given the time to teach the kids properly.
Doing something entirely differently now, is considerably happier and able to sleep at night.

Apparently if I started on my wage in 1540 I would now be getting close to having earned what Ronaldo earns in a year. That said I may be a little old.
