Did you see the other passengers getting caught up in it and they were very close to falling on the tracks. Total cunts.Ok I’m expecting a load of abuse for this, but it looked like some like minded lads having a go at each other. The sound of that fellows head hitting the floor was not good at all and I hope he is ok. Let’s not judge those who have other thoughts on life than we do. As long as they don’t affect us!
I take your point but disagree. I’ve been taking the train to and from Sheffield from London for the last 28 years since moving down here.Ok I’m expecting a load of abuse for this, but it looked like some like minded lads having a go at each other. I quite agree. Why the hell should the vast majority of people going about their normal weekends, with no interest in the outcomes of some irrelevant games of football in northern backwaters, have it ruined by poorly brought up arsewipes? It's as if they're released from a zoo into normal society on a weekly basis like some kind of experiment and are completely oblivious to the fact that 99% of society do not act or think like them.I take your point but disagree. In most cases with the the kids over the last 15 years. Generally it’s fun and pleasant, we enjoy the banter with away fans and ones from other clubs using the service. You can have some good conversations.
BUT sometimes there are groups of young stone island lads who have drunk too much and are coked up. They make it miserable for all. Every club has them too.
Problem is they have no class or awareness. They make it miserable for all and if you try to stop them smoking their vape on the train, throwing food or being homophobic / misogynistic to non football people, anything can happen.
The point is organised fighting is between like minded, or was. This behaviour is abhorrent as innocent bystanders can and are hurt physically and emotionally.
Stop taking coke. Handle your ale. Please all stop wearing the same stone island knock off.
The problem is their actions do affect us, like it or not.
I once read (can't remember where) that alcohol doesn't make you violent, it just removes inhibitions, which releases those inner thoughts.
Think I had last dance with her in RoxysReally? Shit, that's me done with the booze for ever.
I don't fancy embarrassing myself by making a move if a 90 year-old granny dressed as an Elvis lookalike and soaked in 3 week old prune juice crosses my path.
Only time I’ve proper rowed with my Mrs is when I’ve been drunk, ruined really good nights out with her, so I no longer get drunk.I once read (can't remember where) that alcohol doesn't make you violent, it just removes inhibitions, which releases those inner thoughts.
As I see it a small minority of fans have no idea how to behave. As the fracas began a chap with, a rucksack on his back, walked through the rabble and if he'd been a few moments later he would have been in the thick of it. A few women sitting on benches nearby rapidly collected their belongings and moved away. They shouldn't have to put up with it.I take your point but disagree. Pathetic.
society has a lot of dick heads, you are correct, however football has a great atmosphere which is generally driven by aggression towards the oppositions team and fans. You can’t complain when it raises its head in general society.I take your point but disagree. True, but unfortunately it's not just weekend's.I quite agree. Why the hell should the vast majority of people going about their normal weekends, with no interest in the outcomes of some irrelevant games of football in northern backwaters, have it ruined by poorly brought up arsewipes? I generally complain about all things in life some times people don’t listen thoughYou can complain.
I agree. Sometimes it’s needed like in the example you gave. Might stop said twats continuing to do it again in the future, at the expense of someone innocent.90% of the comments are slagging the "blindside" punch, but not everything else.*
One guy saying he "loves violence.. but not on concrete".
The fuck is wrong with people.
*kid in orange deserved to get sparked in my opinion for being a twat.
When we were queuing to get in South Stand on Bramall Lane v Blackburn other week, 3 or 4 lads barged straight through the home fans going "move! Blackburn coming through!"
10 seconds later he got sparked out.
I don't get fighting at football, but again - deserved.
Good point made, I’ve done most grounds away and never had any un provoked violence towards me. You can avoid it if you want to, Just like you can avoid a drunk on the street by crossing the road. The one punch thing is scary, probably more chance of getting killed though through crossing the roadI think football violence is absolutely stupid, and echo about the one punch being able to kill. I'm very conscious about how quickly it can go wrong for everyone involved, and have always encouraged mates to walk away should something look like happening when out drinking.
But I've always said for the most part nowadays (I accept there are some exceptions) it's easy to avoid at the football. I've been to all the "bad" ones away and never found any trouble, partly because I'm not a exactly a small fella and partly because I don't go looking for it.
The man that gets knocked out in that video could've easily avoided it by just walking past them and not slapping them. They weren't even giving it the big'un or anything, they were just stood about ignoring him.
