Yes, we lack a bit up front, the man himself said so, but is that enough to justify this?

Cwak has gotten us to this level, yet seemingly everybody knows better than them.
I question the decisions we make constantly, but I would never attack the club like people on youtube do.

This forum wouldn’t exist if we all thought the same thing. It’s the modern equivalent of writing on bog walls.....and it all means the north end of fuck all.
Different opinions make the world go round and in this awful cancel culture that we’re living in.....We need them more than ever.

People have opinions sometimes you agree sometime you don’t it’s a bit like politics football however on social media some of the trolling you see is outrageous especially the ones that have a footballer as their display picture that’s probably never set foot in a stadium before

If people are speaking shite they need to be told they are speaking shite. That’s not “cancel culture”, it’s calling out silly bollocks, which has been a Yorkshireman’s prerogative for 100s of years.

Newsflash: all football fans are fickle

Opinions:

We need with a new striker and were poor at the back.

Individual errors cost us dear.

Lundstram looks disinterested and makes poor choices.

Etc

The shite posted last night wasn't opinions. It was a load of deep fried jumbo bollocks.

Internet forums are a bit like school. You’re always going to get the odd wet lettuce.

Opinions are great when built upon facts and well thought evidence.

When its someone moaning like a little bitch saying - “GERRIN ANOTHER STRIKER BILLYS LEG AV GONE” - it does begin to get annoying.
Billy’s legs fecked off 2 seasons ago. Hands up anyone who thinks he’ll score 20 this season? ✋✋✋✋✋

Maybe just maybe Monday's result will be a blessing in disguise!

A win with a convincing performance & many on here would have been eyeing the top 8 or so, instead of being realistic, & could have masked our inadequacies in the last third & put less emphasis on our needs in that area.

Whatever happens I would rather trust in CWAK for all they have given us over the past 4 seasons, even if this is as good as it gets. Rather that than some Italispanportugfranco manager whose name I cannot pronounce & who lives in a hotel for the time he is here picking up his mega wage.

Whether I agree with him or think he is making a mistake, give me CW any day. Just consider the crap we have had in managers over the last 13 years before!

Monday was disappointing yes 1st ten minutes were dire and rest of half poor, that said we improved and Berge looked classy when he came on. I don't think Didzy anywhere near fit and Billy ran his socks off but it was like "Land of the Giants" with their defence.

We should try more shooting from distance instead of trying to score after a tappy, tappy move I want to see McBurnie score and go on a little scoring run but somehow can't see it.

I hope I'm wrong I said yesterday for a youngster Moose gets injured far too often and I'm beginning to ask is his heart in the club? I cannot knock his ability but perhaps question does he have the commitment?

We won't go down and we are better than the sum of our parts Monday night but, we have to start finding the onion bag I know Billy had one disallowed Monday but he put it away with a certain aplomb others round him don't seem to have.

The annoying thing is the fans that are normally behind them can't go and are restricted to shouting at TV screen which, they can't hear COYRAWW.

Footballs an opinions business

Stop being a fanny
But there's no doubt a whole load of fickle supporters / social inadequates who use social media to make inane points that they wouldn't make in the wider world.

Writing them off as fannies is often the way of these types.

That's not cancel culture, that's normal conversation. Cancel culture would be someone talking shite and instead of telling them in whatever way you like, simply banning the fucker from ever being able to chat said shite again.

Hear fucking Hear Rodley
Thought that’s what we Sheffield folk did
Tell it as we see it , you might not like hearing it said but at least it’s honest and the truth so everyone knows were they stand
Do you have to be so blunt in what you say Darren
Don’t like it don’t ask the question love

I’d say more panicky than fickle.

Sure, its really annoying that a lot of fans see us put in one of our mostly-crap start of the season performances and then start endless threads, tweets and facebook posts about how the sky is falling in.

But its just a desperate grab for some feeling of participation and control in the chaotic landscape of fanless football.
I’d imagine they’ll all (for the most part) be giving the team full-throated support for the next game.

So as I say, not fickle... just panicky idiots (like most people in general really)

The amount of threads which popped up saying mostly the same thing was ott, but the reaction to that performance, from myself at least, was just a worry that it felt like the last few games of last season. The worry being that our post lockdown form was not great.

The problem is that many see things in black and white. If you criticise anything after a victory you're a 'pig' and should just enjoy the victory. If you criticise anything after a defeat you're fickle or panicky. There are also those who refuse to read any criticism when we lose. The reverse kind of applies as well. Those who get carried away with victories and those who will only post positive things when we lose.

The truth is probably somewhere in the grey areas but a lot of people don't like those.

Come on Cristiano Wonaldo some fans are just more passionate than others I guess

We don't have fickle fans, we have fans that get concerned when things aren't going our way and they can see we need to pick it up a little..

We also have non starters who panic after one game, they're the ones who can't take it but like to dish it out normally..

Proper blades, and for that proper fans don't get on the soapbox and don't get worried until 10 games into the season.. That's the magic number, 10 games, it's a good amount of games to see where we are..

Edit, and weather we need to worry..

Like I said it’s all merely “writing on a bog wall.” Nobody should get offended by what appears on a silly forum.
