I've been thinking about this season, the highs and lows and found myself doing something quite incredible. I found myself genuinely looking forward to the season ahead, in my limited experience as a blade ( 28 years old ) I can't actually remember such a feel good atmosphere surrounding the club since Bassett. Warnock was successful but divisive, Blackwell the same ( without the success if course ). I liked Wilson and have huge respect for how he conducted himself and for the job he very nearly did but again, some blades never saw past his past. Nigel has come in, developed our existing players and brought some quality in and created a team spirit that strikes me as one of the best I've seen. You feel like all those players now really are giving 100% and have quality to take us places, genuine players brought together by a genuine manager. Sorry if this seems too damn positive but I'm afraid I think that right now, it feels good to be a blade !!

Agree Scoob , think the turning point was Crewe away , the manager was fuming in his interviews after , thought his point about injury worries hit the nail on the head .
From the high of the start of the season thinking we had a manager who could mould a team to play football , the false dawn of beating notts county , to rapidly finding out we were going down unless something serious happened , ( and yes I know I defended Mr Wier )
From the steadying of the ship with Morgan , to our ultimate saviour this year Mr Clough .
With his one task of saving us from the 4th division it turned into an unbelievable turn around .
But now I'm counting the days down already to next season , we have a group of players who have been told , play for this club 100% or there's the door .
It's almost running through the brick wall days of Sir Dave , we don't mind getting beat , but it's how we get beat that we care about ,
try your best for us and we'll follow you through thick and thin , act the maggot and not only will our manager let you know about it , shandy , king et al , but we'll let you know about , since his sending off v Fulham how many bad games has Popeye Doyle had ?
We know we're nowhere near the finished article , but looking forward to the signing our manager is going to make to take us up next season .
Am I proud to be a Blade , always am , but right now proud as fuck .
U.T.B .

Belief , its hard to quantify
but Cloughs calm, no nonsense approach instils a warm glow of a feeling that the tides turning and a period of steady improvement is under way.
No arrogant god we are good now feeling , but perhaps he has got a plan feeling , that just might work , not another of Baldrics cunning plans weve endured of late .

Brayford's goal against Charlton is definitely in my all time top ten Blades moments.

It was just a fantastic day from start to finish, much better than Wembley.

Agreed. When that goal went in the noise was incredible. Brayford leapt 5 feet in the air. Standing next to my daughter I had a tear in my eye with the realisation our club was deservedly reaching an Fa cup semi final. She didn't really understand, she just smiled, but she will one day.

For the first time in many, many seasons,we have a 'proper footballing manager.
A manager who has played for England, won trophies( I think),and played in Europe with one of the worlds top teams, still young, and has been loyal to his club.
About his signings?Who's he brought in who's been shyte ?Struggling ? me too.
We have been very fortunate to bring him in ,I mean,WTF would come to a bottom of the lge 1 club and then do what he has done for us?
I think next season, when our Nige has put his proper stamp on us ,with the players he wants,we will be sailing hms.pisstheleague.
I know that a lot of our fans are very conservative and don't like us to brag our opinions ,but hey fk em !Next season will be ours ,I'm sure !
ps dont compare me to pigs hms etc...I really believe it ! Lets be confident for once !
pps Connor WILL be here next season.trust me on this one..congratulate me in July for my ITK...:)

I've still got forest and charlton highlights on my planner and can't beat to delete them yet. The roar you hear when Flynn scored the first is a sound I've been waiting for, a full bramall lane going mental, always gives me goosebumps

Still on my planner too, our lass can't understand why I keep watching them.

What I particularly love about that goal is the split second of complete silence after he hits his shot takes a deflection and then trickles in followed by the euphoria among 25,000 blades fans.

There's a video on the you tubes that portrays it perfectly but I can't find it.

I think the picture, with adoring Blades in the background, captures the moment magnificently.

I never really rated him as a player ,he was a bit boring like Milner. But have always thought he looked a great manager ,and of course loved his Dad.

Hear we are going into our fourth season in the 3rd tier of English football and it feels good.

That Cloughie bloke must be summat special.

I think he is, a modern manager with old fashioned principles that bring a club together, players and fans alike. A rarity in the game today and I for one am proud we're witnessing it at our club
