So, after Chezzy's goal in the 2nd minute, the "fan" behind me was screaming and shouting, swearing constantly about how "shit" sheffield united were. He said multiple times "i've travelled all the way from coventry to see this shite, fuck the blades"
This was within the first 5 minutes of the game.
I explained to my dad Silent Blade as to what was happening and what the guy behind me was saying and we both agree that he was out of order just screaming at the players and the club in general this early on in the game especially.
He said this was the first match he's been to in a while, and as he's from Coventry then I understand that, but if he has even been watching highlights of our previous 12 games, or seen match reports about them, then he would understand that it was just a anomaly. A freak goal that happened so quickly.
I only started getting on the players' backs in the 2nd half because by then, we had over 45 minutes to get a goal but we didn't.
Luckily we smashed them in the second half and after billy's goal, I ended up hugging him and pulling him from the row he was on I was that ecstatic.
Basically what I am trying to say is that I think it is ridiculous for fans to scream at our players within the first 5 minutes of the match, call them shit and whatnot after AN 11 UNBEATEN STREAK IN THE LEAGUE!
