Relatively of course

If you had to name the 20 best managers in the Prem history I think Big sam should be in the list or thereabouts

Opinions are exactly what a forum is about, I don’t have to agree but I can respect them

I understand what your getting at, could Sam come into the club, galvanise, organise and create a winning mentality?

Possibly - but equally we could slip into the playoffs, lose and then the conversation would be did we do the right thing?

Hecky imo is out of credit, we’ve blown what should have been an insurmountable lead over 3rd and he has to take responsibility

But equally he took us to that position and maybe deserves the right to see it through

We mock teams like Watford for chopping managers, let’s not become Waftford Mk2

There will be twists and turns, it’s the Blades way I guess

He wouldn't be , I'd say
Guardiola
Wenger
Klopp
Benitez
Conte
Ferguson
Mancini
Pellegrini
Dalglish
Hodgson
Rodgers
Moyes
Ranieri
Pochettino
Arteta
Hiddink
Potter
Houllier
Ancelotti
Mourinho
Would all be above him

FallowfieldBlade

You tread a fine line between FACT and WUM

But you took the whole packet of biscuits with this😂

“One of the most successful managers ever in the PL”😂

Might as well ask Souness to get his trackie on, at least he could bring some fun to next season by planting a blades flag in the swillsbro centre circle👍

Love being reminded of that Souness moment. Always makes me smile. What a truly mad bastard he was 🤣

Rodgers/Arteta/Houllier/Hiddink/Pochettino/Hodgson/Pelegríni

Haven’t been as relatively as successful as Big Sam

I’d say doing what he did at Bolton is better than say pellegrini winning the league with Man City

Hodgson got Fulham to the uefa cup final, pochettino spurs to champions League final, houllier won a cup treble that's not been equalled since ( maybe man u this year) Rodgers won FA cup, at Leicester, those achievement's are at least equal to keeping Bolton up, also we could add dyche who kept Burnley up year on year ,

And as for pellegrini winning the league not being as successful as keeping Bolton up , I get its relative , but if at the start of a season the target for 1 is to win the league and the target for another is to stay up and both achieve it , Id say they are equal

Fair point there is no way you can really rank them all very good premier league managers

Though I would say Big Sam did it longer and at more clubs

Big Sam is casted as a dinosaur when he was one of the first modern managers in the Prem anyway

I would say getting Notlob out the champ into Europe is harder than to win the league with the best squad in the league and another 200 billion to spend

Portsmouth it’s Monday evening 10pm is there really any need to be so upperty

Gump - it's 'uppity'

And wanker ? I really think you are showing that you are the w@nker constantly wanting to fight with everyone that has a different opinion to that of yours

Sure thing

I genuinely couldn’t care less what people reply to me ...

Hence, the tearful response ...

If you think your opinions is so far above everyone else see if the green’un will let you do the ratings for them

No. I'll stick to here. It seems to work well. Your shit however meets with almost universal slavver and scorn.

Option three.

pommpey

Sadly I think he is both skint and daft ( 5yr contract)
Why does everyone believe it would cost too much to sack Hecky, all we have to do is tell him he’s going back to his old job in the U21’s, then if he doesn’t like it he can resign himself! Doesn’t cost us owt then.

Utterly pointless negativity once more as the manager is not going to change.

If I were to bite, My RYA Powerboat Level 2 Certificate would question why you have overlooked a much belated return of one Mr Steve Bruce.

Anyone with the tiniest amount of knowledge of Athletico Mince would know of the members of the destroy and exit managers list.

I’ve been searching far and wide I’ve spoken to my contacts within my vast network in football

And they have all advised me that the best option out there who can come in and do a job

That man would be Sam Allardyce On a contract to the end of the season

Go get him princey boy

Your vast network in footbal being your bedroom.
Terrible manager big sam , he’s one of the most successful managers ever in the premier league era

WBA relegated with them and sacked! Everton :sacked with concerns over style persisting during his spell at club. Palace: resigned after 5 months. Took six games before he won a match with them. Sunderland: Narrowly escaped relegation from prem in 2016. (7 years ago). West ham: Took them back to Prem but left in 2015 after his contract was not renewed after claims were made that he played dull, long ball football. Blackburn Rovers: finished 15th in Prem. Tried to leave for better paid job in Dubai but was forced to stay. Then sacked later in season. Newcastle: Sacked after gaining one point from bottom two clubs over Xmas 2008. Bolton: Took them up from championship to Prem in 2001. Impressive record here (22years ago) mainly with free transfers and loan players.

he’s one of the most successful managers ever in the premier league era

Yet he has been sacked from just about every club hes managed!!!!

Sorry I went and quoted the wrong post didn't I.....try again.....maybe he will just say pay me off 🥺

I’m not trolling there isn’t a Better manager out there who is free and can start tomorrow

Hahah go on then please explain to me how hecky is better than big Sam

Big Sam is a top manager obviously he’s getting on now

But you cannot genuinely believe hecky is better than big Sam that’s some crazy though process
Surely if Big brown paper bag man was a "Top manager" he'd be in a job with a top club🤔.

NEW-COACH-1500x784px.jpg

O yes he did. He got caught on camera accepting not a brown envelope but a very large leather bag full of ££££££££s

No , no he didn’t

He was befriended by an undercover journalist

He didn’t accept any bribe he said he knows that agents get around 3rd party ownership rules

If owt it’s a joke that he was sacked and shows the FA wants wet lettuce yes men like Gareth/hecky

I don’t think

Fallowfield fact.

£ 4 million to get rid of Wilder + (Alan Knill ?) , who knows how many millions to get rid of Slav and his team.

Still if £ 4 million is not much to you, get your cheque book out and pay the Prince 80/90 million, then find another 60/80 million to change the manager every few months and buy some 'proper' players.

Then when SUFC never loose another game, you can state that you were right, and you can win the internet.

Talk is cheap, actions speak volumes.
