I've seen it said quite a few times already but from what I can see only Burnley (Who obviously have some sales to do) have actually made any significant signings so far.

Every other team seems to have released players or sold.

I know we have a huge rebuild to do and that needs working on quickly, but the narrative of "everyone else is signing but us" seems to be the normal Blades panic?

Been as most players contracts run out at the end of June and the transfer window for players under contract doesn’t open until the 14th of June people need to get a grip. There’s no wonder we’ve not signed 17 players already.

Most players and staff are on holiday throughout June as well.

I’m not unduly worried.

I think the takeover is further along than we all think and come the end of June we will have new owners, a new manager and a rebuild will be under way

Get Better value in late August.. you know 6 games in to the season… I’m sure One’ and Marsh will be fine leading the line and Grbic in goal those first six games.. it’s not like we are already starting the season 2 points behind everyone else is it?

We’ve got weeks of people being called ‘bed wetters’ and being told to ‘be patient’ and wait until we’re on -2 points at the end of August before we judge the quality of the squad!

My feelings entirely , and I don’t remember ever going into a new season feeling so apprehensive about our prospects.

Virtually all all the players who have been instrumental in our relative success in recent years will no longer be with us and in my view , it would take a minor miracle to replace them with others of equal ability and commitment to the cause who could achieve similar success .

Add to that , and given the reputation we gained last season , we are hardly likely to be the dream move for any footballer looking to advance his career and as such I don’t envy those tasked with the job of assembling
what will essentially be an entirely new squad .
