when will some people learn, as line from 1 of my favourite songs goes "I can't make it go away by making you a villain" i will never understand why we have we have to demonize our greatest managers

im sure Tuesday will be exactly like when we played Man Utd & Harry Maguire returned in 2019

pre kick off - "welcome back harry, great to see you"
15mins in - "piss off harry, you cheating ****

I hope there is a bit of pre match appreciation and then wall to wall Hecky, Jack and Stewart McCall.

Nobody being a pillock trying to get a rendition of "he's one of our own" during the match please! In fact I wouldn't even go there before the game.

Bit difficult to cling onto "one of our own" when you fuck off at the first sign of adversity.

Some might find that as harsh and this is a potentially ridiculous comparison but look at Klitschko. He could saunter off to luxury but he decides to stay in a place his life could be in danger. No way near as severe for Chris, but a relegated team that he built needing to go again, those players needed him to dust himself down, look to the longer term and go again. But he cut and run and whatever happened in the end we may never fully know, but he certainly was looking to engineer his departure with some of his out there comments in press conferences. It's not hard to believe he tried to quit 3 times. Maybe he got frustrated. But what was he expecting taking a club to the top flight for the first time in over a decade? Of course there would be downs as well as ups. It just seemed having those downs and not having the answered was too much for him and I thought he had more steel and resilience than that.

Comparing the circumstances surrounding Wilder leaving Sheffield United, and those of the Mayor of Kiev, at the moment ,is as you rightly suspected, the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read on here.
