Can't help thinking I might have been whooshed here, but if it's true, it's a disgraceful decision.

Isn't it just replays from the QF onwards? As opposed in all rounds. Can't locate at the mo, but seem to remember reading a BBC article about it...

So if Kidderminster draw Man U at home in the Quarter Final, there's no chance of them getting a replay that would earn them enough money to keep afloat for the next five seasons?

What a load of bollocks

I think scrapping QF replays is a non issue. Because since 07/08 fa cup there has been 6 replays. Also yes money from the replay at early rounds would help but from a success point of view it should help the underdogs as they cant usually never repeat it 2nd time around

also without wanting to be pedant if Kidderminster made quarter finals, they make around £1.25m with just prize money & tv money which is quite alot of money for them

Voted on next summer, although quarters from this season.

Am I missing something about the Winter Break? How is it supposed to help? They still have to fit all the games in; if you ask me everyone's gone fucking soft; freezing your bollocks off on a cold winter's night is what football is all about.

Replays are a great but at the same time can be a pain, especially early doors, drawing against someone like Morecambe and having to have a replay is just an unnecessary nuisance, on the other hand replays can be great for smaller teams drawing huge clubs like Man Utd and the Blades
