Just for anyone who didn't know the club will be screening the match in the International Bar on Saturday for free for anyone without a ticket and wants to watch the game with other Blades (although I'm sure most people not going have their chosen pub anyway!) Opens at 3 and there will be hot food - probably same as there is on normal match days.

Hopefully wherever you're watching it it will be a memorable day! If Cambridge can hold them to a draw, hopefully we can do at least that!

Kate :)

If the beer wasn't crap & pricey and it wasn't a shit place to watch football I'd be on it.

Anyone think of (or going to) a decent place in Sheff to watch it? I'm leaning towards Walkabout for its huge screen and its proximity to Beerkeller which I haven't visited yet, although it's not the best pint in there either.

Common Room is good for screens but the likelyhood of getting a seat on a Saturday evening is slim.

Clubhouse (ex Hermitage/Scholar) is supposed to be a decent sports bar with good beer and food

I'm curious, why give it such a stupid fucking name as the 'International Bar' exactly?

It's me local. Good beer and food, yes. A good place for watching live sport it is not. The big screen is a bit naff and you have to crane yer neck right back for the smaller ones.

A chip butty kind of sums up the club atm; no protein, no fibre, just starch and lard.

I'm going to watch it on the massive super high definition (no) screen at Old Trafford. One of the saps that paid the entrance fee for a third round FA Cup match.

Hoping it's going to be as good an experience as it was at Villa two years ago.

C'mon you fucking Cup Tarts!!!

Last bit just for boo radley ;)

Get baking Ken. I off to see what's on street corners

Que?
Lamp posts and prossies I'd imagine Boozers. Never thought you'd have to pay for it, though - not like Swizzers ;)

I've still got some flakey in the fridge btw - the Mrs is in charge of the buns - and mighty fine they are too ;)

One of the worst bars in Sheffield.

To improve it - training the bar staff to pull a pint properly would be step 1.

My mate rang Common Room and they told him they don't show any local team's matches!

From memory, it's something to do with Bramall Lane having hosted both International Football and Cricket (the only place to have done so or one of the only places?).

Apart from not having enough staff and being overpriced it's a better option for before a match if you've got kids. Usually a couple of players turn up for photos which is great for kids to get that close to footballers. A lot of clubs keep a distance from fans, this is one good thing United are good at

The Lane and The Oval have hosted test matches, internationals and cup final replays. The only two grounds to do so.

That's usually the case but you'd think they'd make an exception seeing as it's Man U. One of my favourite city centre bars, but that particular policy is a bit naff.

I will be watching at my usual venue. The beer is warm, the food is shit and the bird that's always there hates me and will be giving me death stares as I shout at the screen. Part of the reason I'm always getting kicked out. Anyone fancy it PM me for my home address.
