Aye, that's one of the biggest crock's of shit I've ever read. 'Does Nigel Clough hate the club that made him?' Hang on a minute you daft scab, I think you'll find it was the Clough family that made Nottingham Forest. Without Lord Brian, they would never have come anywhere near winning a league title, 2 European cups, 4 league cups and playing in an FA Cup Final.
Without Sir Nige, they would never have enjoyed numerous top 6 (and top 3) finishes in the late 1980's, as well as 2 of the aforementioned league cup triumphs. I believe that Nigel is Forest's post war record goal scorer, so that record alone speaks for itself.
Post Clough family involvement, Nottingham Forest has not played in the top flight for 15 years, reached a major cup final, played in Europe, or even reached a play off final. It was the Clough men who made Forest, and they should never forget it either.

I think / hope hes here fore the long term, I could see him thinking that he'd always be in his dads shadow at Forest and will never achieve anything like what his dad did whereas here he gets to plough his own furrow, starting with what his dad never did by winning the FA cup 
If the prince tuns out to be full of shit though and we sell players and instruct him to reduce the wage bill then I could see him going somewhere else as he will be in demand

Warnock turned down forest cos the chairman wanted him to pick the Kuwaiti keeper and influence him in team selections. Nige would want interference from anyone upstairs (his dad would tell them to feck off!)
