Loads of these mags are left in shops, bars, hairdressers etc around the City. Sheffield and Sth Yorks self proclaimed "ultimate entertainment and listings guide.
The October edition has a "Carry on Campus" student guide. Welcome to Sheffield is on page 3 and carries a little with a piece titled City of Sport. This article opens with Football and Sheffield FC. Then the following:
Sheffield's main clubs are in the English second tier. Sheffield W******y (The Owls) are the older and historically bigger of the two, playing at Hillsborough stadium, they offer cheap student tickets every match on the famous old kop. Then there's Sheffield United (The Blades) who reside at Bramall Lane.
The pigs' badge comes first too.
The Editor, Mr Carl Reid, can be contacted on 2757709. I'll give him a call in the morning. I wonder if he really believes that students need it confirming that both Sheffield clubs play in an English league?
