Agreed if this was confirmed it would sooth a few frayed nerves as the usual allocation is 1035 standing plus 150 seats.

If United need a point or three to guarantee promotion, it is in Devon Constabulary's best interests to encourage Exeter to give us a bigger allocation. Having 3500 Blades in the same area where we can be segregated is far better than having 1100 officially there, and another 2000 dotted around the ground with fights breaking out all over the place.

Plus, if Exeter are already relegated by 5/5/12, the interest from their fans will surely be minimal. They might as well give us three sides then.

I am guessing the clubs are talking about this behind closed doors and a provisional agreement has been made. They are looking us as good as down and we are looking like we'll be right up there, so it would not surprise me if they gave us 3.5k tickets. Would be fucking fantastic (though still tough to get a ticket!). It would seem the delay is waiting to see if Exeter might have something to play for. I would not be surprised if they waited til after easter weekend and if they don't get results in their games (Colchester at home, Scunny away and Orient at home) then they'll give us 2 stands.

Went in the promo dept and had a word with Mr R a couple of weeks ago. The clubs have been talking for ages about this which is great to know. However he did not think there was much hope and Exeter will not make a decision before 4 weeks before the game .

Yep, I expect an annoucement on Tuesday 10th of April. If they do well in their next 3 games we might be disappointed .... otherwise even the part timers like me might be able to get a ticket!?

there is a difference between saying something is fucking fantastic and calling someone a cunt. Perhaps living in Leeds has affected your judgement?

I very much doubt this will be decided until really late on.

Most will depend on if Exeter have anything to play for. If they have to get something out of the game against us I can't see them letting us have 3,500 out of a crowd of about 8,800.

If they're already down (which does look likely at the minute) or safe, I'd be surprised if they didn't let us have the 3,500.
