Its just getting better and better.

Hulse off to Derby £1.75 million, £10million cash injection from McCabe,Thames club sold, 17/18000 season tickets sold and still the money from wet spam to come...

at this rate we'll be buying Ronaldo.

Oh when the Blades................................................................

Wonder who the Blades will buy ?

Do you know something we dont from West ham???

Not really but reading between the lines and knowing how astute McCabe is everything points to a payout of some sort. An interesting comment made by wet spams advisors about Tevez playing the last 3 games for them being dubious rang alarm bells !

I have a feeling Blackwell might wait till January till he spends big. Fingers crossed we will be there or there abouts and be able to attract some decent players.

I am pleased he isnt panic buying.

I've also got a feeling Hendrie will do a good job for us in the midfield next season along side Tonge who had a great finish to the season last season.

On the subject of Tonge did anyone notice how well he plays under Blackwell, well Blackwell left he was never the same and when he comes back he is back to his old self.

Anyone else getting a bit fed up with the sarcastic vibe to BBs last few postings on this subject??

Call me paranoid (Finished with my woman cause she couldnt help me with my mind), but I think BB has doubts about McCabe investing in 'quality' players!!

There are problems with this though, the majority of players value are marked up in January.

Is he not panic buying, or has he no funds to buy with...? ;) haha

I'm optimistic on this too,

I feel Tonge played "better", but not exactly great. I feel he still needs to improve to warrant a regular first team place.

I thought he did have funds to use.

I think we need to sign Cotts but thats it.

The way we finished last season we would of been in the mix at the top anyway. I really don't think he needs to change much.

Derby will be shocking this year, he has made panic buys and I dont think they will all gel in time to get a promotion push going.

Whilst our improvement in results following the arrival of KB last season was there for all to see we relied heavily on Cotterill to provide the creativity. I therefore feel that signing Cotts on a permenant basis is of paramount importance and i would ideally like a quality winger for the other side too.

Derby have signed some very good players; look at the number of players that Sunderland signed last season and they had a very successful campaign by all accounts. We didn't make many changes last season and it didn't work out too well for us now did it.

There is no fine art to success; good players and a good manager are a good start but even that may not be enough.

I personally feel that Birgmingham, Derby and Reading will be the teams to beat this season and a play-off spot is our best hope.

I can't help but be sceptical about all these reports of transfer warchests; i remember similar statements issued at a number of times during the promotion and premiership campaigns and our net spending (wages aside) was about the same as the money made from outgoings.

I hope this doesn't prove to be the case this time.

Hmmm we made 6 changes last season 6 out of 11 is a big change.

I suppose it is subjective but I would say that only Beattie, Sharp and Naysmith were brought in as guaranteed first 11 players from the start of the season. Jags and Davis were the only guaranteed starters that left (CKR was in and out of the team) so that’s is hardly wholesale changes in my book.

Fair enough Speed joined in January followed by Cotts shortly after but half of the season was gone by that point.

I cant wait for new season now, just bought season ticket today well up for it

Not a sarcastic comment but a genuine belief for reasons i have stated prvious, so yes i'll call you paranoid.

Give Blackie and McCabe time.

However i am concerned no clearout has taken place........ yet.
