DCL scoring his first goal for Leeds , a good win for them , looks like might be a long season for Wolves ,,,and whereas last week it was McBurnie and Egan scoring for Hull , this week it was McBurnie and Lundstram

Well Egan, McBurnie and Lundstram have all scored for Hull City so far and Moore has found the scoring nack for Wrexham strange how most of them were considered shit when here.

Callum Robinson got a goal for Cardiff in their League Cup win at Burnley, not sure if it was a "shock" as such 'cos no idea what team Burnley put out , , it set up a cracking tie in the next round , Wrexham v Cardiff, , if I could pick one tie of the round to go to think it would be this one ,,

BBD scored a cracker for Derby at weekend , ,, also noticed that after McBurnie & Egan scored for Hull 2 weeks ago and McBurnie & Lundstram last week it was just McBurnie this week, hopefully none of them score on Saturday ,, also after listening to CW press conference pre the Southampton game was interested to hear Jake Wright is coaching at our academy

That's the Burke I expected to see when we signed him. 3 great goals

That's got to be another Oli Burke, he couldn't hit a barn fucking door when he was here 🙄 must be summat wrong with the coaching here all these former players going from dogshit to decent ish players once they leave 😉

You do jest, but we have a long history of strikers good elsewhere but shite here.

McBurnie, Robinson, Brewster, Cannon

It's not just the strikers though, Ampadu was shite here also Bogle couldn't string a couple passes or even a few games together but played a lot more games consistently after they both left.
I'm sure there are others such as the ones you posted above, notably MacBurney and Cheese Strings.
It does suggest overtraining or something else related to poor training techniques.

Another couple for McBurnie tonight against Hecky he really hit the ground running at Hull ,, also heard that Birmingham fans not happy when Tommy Doyle was taken off v S6 , so sounds like their fans taken to him on the opposite side I heard the Barnsley youtuber say they not too impressed with Didzy
Regarding earlier comments that players "always" do well when they leave us , this obviously not the case it just that they catch the eye especially when going through a purple patch like McBurnie is at the moment
I like to keep up with former players, not in a way that we would have been better if they had stayed but just as an interest

Last Friday 2 league games Bournemouth v Fulham & Wrexham v Birmingham saw Brooks v Berge & Robinson v Moore,, onto Saturday with Oli Norwood scoring a penalty ( not seen it so not sure if as good as the one he got v Wolves ) , Robinson netting for Cardiff ,and Jebbison scoring for PNE ,where Hecky off to a good start to the season ,, Che Adams also scoring for Torino ,, unfortunately the 4 ex Blades at Hull had a winning afternoon, I mentioned on a post about McBurnie about how good he was at clearing corners , getting stick from some pointing out his main job at the other end of the pitch , while I agree , he was effective again in doing this on Saturday ,, while appreciating clearing a corner is different to scoring from one , he is so good at getting his head there first to clear a corner I am somewhat surprised he doesn't score from more , also hearing that RND is settling in well at QPR

Hamza Choudhury scored for Bangladesh today in their 4-3 defeat to Hong Kong in a 2027 Asia Cup qualifier. He scored the opening goal of the game, a free kick into the top corner from the left wing. He is Bangladesh’s only good player.

Bangladesh were 3-1 down after 85 minutes, made it 3-3 in the 9th minute of injury time, and lost it in the 101st minute.

Hong Kong’s left winger Raphael Merkies came on at HT and scored a hat trick, including the winning goal. He’s come a long way. 6 years ago he and Revo Jr were centre back partners in an under 18s team.

9 October England v Wales , England having MGW & Dean Henderson on the hench while Wales starting with Ampadu ,Brooks and Moore with Adam Davies on the bench ,, while North of the border Scotland start with Che Adams against George's Greece

And Rob Page was one of the ITV studio pundits.

There's a real art to scoring headers from corners. As a centre half as a youth I was imperious at clearing corners/crosses, just getting a head on anything that came flying in. But scoring from corners I was absolute tripe at - always mistiming runs, getting under the ball or not getting the right direction on it. I used to think the same about O'Connell (though he obviosuly scored one absolutely vital header from a corner) and Souttar - both won everything in the air at the back but very rarely tested the keeper from a corner.

Best modern player at that is Maguire. Always poses a threat from corners.

John Egan was pretty good at getting on the end of our attacking corners. But he normally headed it straight at the keeper or into the crowd.
