I'd have thought Mrs Trellis would have been a Wrexham fan in all honesty, good to see we're developing our reach!

Its music rights I think, its annoying because its hammered most of the radio I listen to

I’m guessing as a migrant you don’t pay the licence fee as you’re not living in the UK?

If so, suck it up buttercup.
still pay it at my house in Sheffield, so I can be indignant
im a welcomed investor and spanish tax payer, by the way

Don't worry, I have just bought £30,000 pounds worth of Crab industries heavy duty carrier Pigeon's.
These will have a transmitter strapped to their backs to broadcast live radio sheffield commentary all around the world......

May I suggest that you take someone with you when next shopping !

Exactly as us natives have been taught how great cuisines from around the world are by the immigrants we are lucky enough to have.
especially Koh I noor staff, incidentally , one of their waiters from 12 years ago when I went now works at Shaktars on cabo roig strip and completely understands when I ask for a bottle of watter

I don't. I mainly want the "unique way it is funded" to fuck off. Which will hopefully happen about four years from now.
It's not really that unique is it, you just pay monthly, same as sky, tnt, amazon, Netflix, if you had to do a sponsored run or a skydive 3 times a year or send in drawings of horses in order to watch the BBC that would be uniquely funded

Cabo Roig? You don't live in Spain at all, you live in England with sun!

If I cancelled my Netflix account I'm fairly sure they would not threaten me with criminal prosecution for doing so

That maybe true but there is a popular misconception that TV licence is required to watch BBC or any form of media the BBC produces, this is not true, you need a TV licence to watch any form of live TV so even if you used it just to watch sky sports for instance, unless you are only watching pre recorded streamed TV then you need a TV licence, same goes for amazon, Netflix etc if its Live u need a TV licence regardless of the platform or device you watch on or the channel

The licence was originally just for the BBC but they then realised people were just saying we don’t watch BBC so the powers that be said you now need a licence for any live TV BUT ALL the money still goes solely to the BBC

What an outdated racket it is ….make them advertise or make it a subscription service and scrap this pathetic TV licence.
