David Weir came to United with a great ambition to change the way we play, and he tried to make that change on the pitch. In a way he succeeded but not in the way we all hoped he would - we managed to pass the ball around a lot and we lost.

Nigel Clough has further changed the way we played, and for the better. Is this an evolution of the Weir way or a total revolution? Weir tried a drastic revolution and it didn't work. Clough's way is totally different to Weir's, but is it a drastic change to the way we played under Danny Wilson, who changed us in that first season into a winning side, or is it another revolution?

We now need some change - will Clough have the vision to slowly change us into a good side capable of avoiding relegation this season and changing that further into challenging for promotion next season? I hope that Nigel Clough can achieve great things with United and that next season will see a determined push for promotion. We are just a few players away from having a genuinely good side capable of getting out of this division, so is this the beginning of United's Clough revolution, or is he helping us evolve to becoming a far better side?

I think if we do avoid relegation that promotion next season is eminently achievable. Are we evolving, or is the Clough revolution beginning to take effect?

What you're saying is that you don't want another Chris Evans on your hands.
