Any players from them that might improve us??

We won’t be buying ageing players from big clubs on their way down. Loans might be a goer. And we might look at some fringe youngsters who won’t get a sniff now due to Rodriguez and co.

But Everton are so dysfunctional that they must have a lot of unexploited talent on the books.

just bumped the Moise Kean thread and then saw this, could he be our 2nd epl loan signing?

Only ones I'd take would be DCL and Digne (aside from the new signings) but neither would realistically happen

The only everton player we’ve enquired about is Iwobi on loan.

I mean I can’t see him getting in their side and would presumably be a big ask in terms of wages (after all didn’t they pay £35m or £40m) for him.

But he would add a dynamic we definitely don’t have to the squad. Seems unlikely to me though

Iwobi would be amazing. He would play RCM and run beyond the strikers and also drift wide during games. Clever, quick and good in the final third at creating chances. Exactly what we need and a huge upgrade on Lunny.

If we loaned him and signed Brewdog and Balagun on permanents that would be the sort of stuff that would keep me up wanking well into the night.

Watched them last night and thought Walcott on loan could do job for us if the wages were realistic
and i would still have Bejic

Can't see that happening at all. Iwobi is a forward, and has always played as a forward. He could maybe play as a 10 at push but I can't see him being anywhere near robust enough to do a job in central midfield.

He’s played there before in his career for arsenal. I think in the first half against wolves our main problem was that fleck and Lunny in LCM and RCM weren’t running beyond the strikers or bursting into the box, they were too reserved, they looked to move the ball on sideways or backwards within seconds of getting the ball. That changed in the second half and it nearly paid off for us with Fleck’s chance and our general play. Iwobi would do that, and he is pretty robust, he isn’t a striker and he isn’t really a winger. The Lunny position is tailor made for him in my opinion.
