Even by this seasons standards

All he had to do if Nunez was in front/too close is walk backwards about 2-3 paces with the ball then launch the ball. Nunez cant come in the box. It was very naive of Grbic.
Why cannot Nunez come into the box when the ball is on the ground ?

No improvement at all over Foderingham and we’re probably paying him more.

If you had as long as Gribic did, to make your mind up, then you’re equally culpable and your Dad's must be the manager. 🤣

I don’t think Gribic can rely on that get out, because he could have lit a cigar and still cleared it before Nunez got to him!!
Like I said, mine to own and Grbic’s too. As it goes my manager is not my dad but he is a UEFA B license holder (as is the minimum required by league rules) so I take some solace from the fact he saw to rebuke the defence for their (non) part in it.
Still mine to own though, no excuses, although I didn’t have the luxury of time that Grbic had.

I don’t disagree that he’s at fault, just that in a team game his team offered him nothing. I’m a goalkeeper who this season cost my team a goal in not disímilar circumstances and whilst I took it on the chin as “one of those (Fuck ups) things” my manager still laid into the defence at half time for offering me no options physically and nothing verbally either. Still mine to own , and his, but we shouldn’t just hang him out too dry for it.
It was shocking. I was stood right behind him, he had time and space to put it absolutely anywhere on the pitch except for Nunez stoods. Awful

Well that’s the point, I can understand a keeper being closed down after a short back pass or whatever, but it was the length of time he had to make his decision, that negates any possible excuse in these circumstances.

I’m not even going to mention the incident later in the game, when the ball was tracking straight onto his left foot. But instead of kicking it straight down the left wing, he kicked it straight out of play with his right foot? If you’re a goalkeeper in the modern game, you have to be comfortable with the ball at either foot.

Other than that, I thought he did ok 👍🏻
