True Blades who are stunted mutants with half a brain will be at the Lane.

Renewing gives McCabe the signal no need for change, every fooker shud have said fook it !

I can't afford a season ticket but would love one for next year, Im gutted that we will be in league one etc.. and the likes of Yoevil,Exeter coming to the Lane do not excite any of us in the slightest...

But for me there is nothing better than being at Bramall Lane on a saturday afternoon and I will put in as much overtime as possible next season to get to as many games as I can afford.

Up the Blades!!!!!!!

>They weren't.... but they know how many are sold
we'll find out monday when i attempt to move my seat.. i'm not anticipating any problems :/

I've been through this thread from top to bottom, but I can't find a single instance of people slagging off fans for buying a season ticket.

There's more to life than this thread. My point was that it's up to each of us to do what we want - why should anyone be derided because they have or have not bought a season ticket?

I suppose this is probably going to be the most out of kilter post on this thread, but I actually bought 4 season tickets on Friday for me and the wife and kids despite not having been a ST holder this season.

Bizarrely, it is the near-certainty of relegation that has inspired me to make the purchase. I honestly believe that relegation is probably exactly what we need as long as we take our medicine and re-build the club in the right way.

We are a club with a magnificent academy structure, we are in the FA Youth Cup Final, in recent seasons we have developed Premiership quality in Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton, talent like Harry Maguire and Jordan Slew has stepped up to the Championship and not looked out of place............................ so why is our squad full of sub-standard journeyman and disinterested loanees!!!!!!!!

I just hope that League One gives us the environment to re-invent our club on the basis of our home grown players who care about the club and have the ability to develop as the club rises through the divisions once more.

If we adopt this model and dont go up next season it wont be the end of the world and it wont bankrupt us either. But when this policy does bear fruit and we have too much talent for it not too, there is a good chance that Promotion from League One will be followed by Promotion from the Championship.

I know things seem crap at the moment, but we will come back from better than before and with a squad of players we can once more identify with.

I think you'll find that all season ticket holders seats are kept available for them until sometime in June

From the OS "Any current season ticket seats which have not been claimed will be on general sale at the new season ticket price from 12 noon on Monday 18th" So maybe I'm wrong!

The seats are defintely released for swapping tomorrow.

I know was speaking to Emma Wylie about it in the ticket office on Friday. The ticket office is opening at 12pm tomorrow for swaps.

Well, you can scratch 3 more off the list - just rang up to renew and was told its an extra fiver a ticket to renew over the phone.

Blades obviously not that desperate to get us in.......

maybe i was told wrong but i was specifically told to come back monday at 12 as the previous post specified

To be fair, it was made clear from the outset that there was a £5 booking fee for telephone renewals. I renewed online - simple & no fee. There's no fee if you pop down to the Lane either. PS No, I'm not McCabe - I don't even like him!

If you want to renew but can't get there, just log on to the online sales section (providing they've fixed the renewals part )

Even if you've never used/don't have a log in, try your customer number and postcode.

No fee, probably easier than ringing up anyway.

I must admit that I was amazed they were releasing existing ST holders seats so early.

Its a brave decision by the club. It certainly influenced my decision to buy a ST again having lapsed for several years, knowing that I would get a really good choice of seats (not easy when you are buying 4 together). However the reverse of this is that if I was an existing ST holder and the club had sold my ST to someone else before the season had even finished I would be almightily cheesed off.

Given that I am probably one of very few "fresh" buyers it probably errs on the foolish side of brave.

£15 per transaction over the phone if paying by credit or debit card is a big strong too, i did mine online though i still had to ring the ticket office because they had my 13 year old down as a £409 adult for the second season running.

I renewed a week or so ago and was told seats wouldn't be released until the end of May.

I can only go off the information I was given and they were crystal clear that unrenewed seats are up for grabs as from noon tomorrow.

OS confirming that position. Also just under 10k renewals. Prices for S/Stand now £70 more than renewal price.

Approx 2000 sold on Sat and Sunday. 600 sold last Sat, not bad going.

Almost 10,000 sold at this price, not too bad considering where we are.

That's wonderful news. 10k sold at and average of say £270 is £2.7m. Take off circa £400k for Trevor's wage, pension and employers NI and things look pretty good.

Hard to believe the increase is £70. Seems very steep to me and I'm all for making the likes of Raul and Tuns pay a fair whack for their football!

>Hard to believe the increase is £70
so does linz owe me a pint then?? :D

Nope... the bet you agreed to was this:

Ok just to tie you down here.

You are saying that they will raise renewal ST prices for next season by the £50 that Lenners is grumbling about?

Just a yes will suffice.

yeah why not if it makes you feel better.. and if i am wrong i'll say .. i was wrong and that will be it..
frankly i'm not arsed as i don't buy an ST anymore because you can't get them for the SW corner so i trek down there every fortnight and buy one
no need to get so serious bob.. it was a friendly bet with linz which was meant as a bit of fun that's all.. perhaps people don't get my sense of humour on here

Season ticket renewal prices were not increased :)

Funnily enough Mic I am in negotiaition as we speak with your South Stand neighbour over his ST and a fee of £100.

He thinks I should just take it, but I still think I'll deserve the £100 too.
