I presume we'll be sticking with Kasabian for the players coming out, at least for now, but a thought struck yesterday. Wouldn't it be great if the 'countdown to kick off' was no more music, and the long, relentless 'Sheffield United, Sheffield United' built up and continued until Billy has finished with the handshakes. Would surely be more intimidating than any choice of music.

I think the Countdown to kick off has a negative effect on the atmosphere, as any chants are drowned out. Keep When The Kids Are United but get rid of the rest.

Oh, and on the subject of music, if I hear the Dario G Wendy tune today I'm going to have words with Gaz. Will need nipping in the bud before local rivals pick up on it...
