Agree he’s a big asset for this but I still don’t think there’s any rush to extend his contract. It’s not as though he’s going anywhere, no other decent club would be interested in him.

It's a reminder that winning favour outside of the support is just a popularity contest. Exactly why I couldn't give a shit whether Linekar or anyone else involved with MOTD etc mentions us when we're in the PL. Content creators want to be talking about the team making waves so they can get their views and please the algorithms. Horrible situation now and if I'm honest so I don't particularly find myself getting offended if any football show doesn't take the time to acknowledge things whether about us or someone else. The important thing here is we're building a good squad, team spirit and we're back to winning ways.
