Not really surprised. The lad has been a revelation for club and country these last 2 seasons, and just seems to grow and get better each season.

A very very good player now. Can't think of us having a better left wing back / left full back at the Lane.

Pleased as punch for the lad. He must feel very proud. Well done lad. 😎

Don't know about the rest of the Irish squad, but Stevens is a quality player, and there are times when he oozes class in his movement, eye for a quality pass, or pure trickery in the way he chooses to use the ball. A superb, technically proficient player and one we're fortunate to have playing in our colours.

Photoshopped head

I genuinely can't tell, there's another photo but his head looks exactly the same in it, but his body is facing the other way.

Weird.

Huge congrats to Enda though, definitely top 3 LB/LWBs in the league for me, and the league is "the best league in the world" so not to shabby.

I suspect any other players on the shortlist were blades too.

I.m trying really hard to fault you, but the best I can some up with is Ted Hemsley in his pomp or Roger Nielsen at his best. Neither continually showed the reliable 8/10 consistency of Enda.

Can't recall Ted Helmsley being as versatile or dynamic as Enda, but equally as part of a fantastic team. I met Ted with Len Badger about 12 years ago. Nice bloke

I’d keep the suit if I was him. Won’t be the last award he wins, I’m sure.

Enda just keeps getting better and better every game and is up there with my all time blades favourites , which a lot of the squads of the last few years are even going back to the 70, s don't think we have had a better left hand side than jack , enda and flecky I said to a few people last week that they were going to rip Lowton a new one and sure enough they did , noticed on motd that he had been dropped for Phil Bardsley .

Near the end of the game today, Stevens slalomed his way forward in typical fashion - such is our players' confidence in his ability we had men bursting into the box backing him to beat his man. Stevens saw the space behind the defender & attempted an audacious nutmeg which so nearly came off.

It won't make any highlight reels, but the Spurs fans around me were asking each other who he was & whether or not he was English, so impressed by his confidence & ability.

Mis-firing strikers up and down the land must be salivating at the quality and number of crosses that Enda puts into the box. It also seems to have inspired George on the other side to deliver better balls into the box too.

Great stuff. He’s also better at the moment than any LB options eligible for England.

Another great example of what hard work, determination, and no lack of ability can get you

when you're at a big club, get released and find yourself floating around the lower leagues, it would be easy to tread water, not our Enda though, pure class and looks a model professional too

funny too that the same could be said of almost all of our side
