I can't help but feel a bit bummed out about the way this season is going to end.
When we were promoted from League One the rest of the season became one big party, resulting in Stadium MK becoming our temporary home ground for a day, and the emergence of Jack's Magic Hat lit up the rest of the season.
Last season it was Egan's Allez song that became the life of the party and the feel good anthem for our success, which was heard everywhere.
Due to Covid we haven't had the chance to celebrate staying up and I'm sure another song would have emerged to celebrate the occasion. Worse yet, Deano might not return next summer and won't get the send off he deserves at Bramall Lane for everything that he has done for us.
Maybe fans could record short thank you messages, take photos of banners and record themselves chanting "Deano" at home, which someone could edit together and send to the club as a farewell and thanks from the fans.
