I agree with this, he had a golden few months when called upon, but up to that point he was never considered good enough at Arsenal even when they had huge issues in that position.
When he was loaned, again no PL team saw it as a deal with doing so he dropped down the leagues.
Fair play for his form when called upon last year but £20M fucking hell, Villa’s pants down again. They’d be better spending £20 on a belt.
