Anyone excited if this signing happens? I don't know much about him or even remember him when we played the both times. He's banged in a dozen for a relegation threatened team, for what that is worth. But he wants to play for a team with Prem ambition. No snickering please. Thoughts now the season is done?

I have a Preston supporting mate and he says he’s “Scandinavian Tom Cannon”. Preston had Cannon on loan as well so he has means for comparison. I think he likes Cannon though as he scored around 1 in 2 for them so he might have meant it as a compliment?!

He'd be £10m cheaper than Cannon.
Id rather have McBurnie tbh if we're getting another slow (kinda) target man though.
Some pace needs to be added at some point.

With Cannon and Moore I really don’t think we need another slow forward player.

I hope we go for pace in any forward signings we make, preferably not like Ollie Burke though, someone who can dribble and change direction would be ideal.

Given that we've been linked with both Riis and Mcburnie in the last week, I would sign one and move on from the other, we don't need both, even if we're going with a 2 striker formation.

Gone under the radar a bit this season with 12 goals, but he's usually reliable when he's fit, plus it seems like he's gotten over that bad injury he had a few years ago (was out for a good few months I think).

Younger than Mcburnie as well.

Fishing in ALDIs pond

Coventry would be a very ideal move for him. But I don't want to see him there until we have McBurnie (or equivalent)

Pros: Free, good age, steady goalscorer at this level.

Cons: All round game not great, not physical / mobile enough to move up, not as good as McBurnie.

Not one I hope we go for tbh.
We have Moore & Cannon for depth, we need a proper CF that Campbell can play off as our next signing in that area.

Really hope we are not in for him. Never rated him and was really poor when Preston played at the lane and got dragged off. No better than Cannon and as others have mentioned we should be signing a striker, but pace, power and goals are what we would should be in for

Wilder will have watched him for Preston vs Blades so knows how bad he is.
