Early Derby Day Predictions

The pigs will be even more up for this game than usual, they are currently 7 points outside the play offs with Plymouth, Cardiff and Hull in their next 5 fixtures including us so they still have an outside chance. Anything can happen in a derby game. My head is saying 1-1 draw but my heart is saying 0-2 win.

Wednesday have picked up less points at home this season than they have away, whereas we have won more points away from home (we have the best away record in the league by 4 points I am pretty sure) so I do fancy us to win.

One of my season highlights was Wednesday going with uber hoofball late in the derby, and Souttar turning the tactic into a comedy sketch.

It’ll be interesting to see if they attack us this time and expose their ropey defence, or keep it tight. If they go with the latter, another 0-0 is entirely likely.
