McB had a couple of great opportunities tonight which he scuffed in his usual abject way.
A shot that should have ripped the net but ended up a backpass + a header just as weak.
He also got his head to a zipping Cross near the end which was a real achievement + deserved a goal

Too predictable, passing it out wide to 2 wingbacks who struggle to cross the ball (I’ll let RND off as he’s relatively new to the position - Baldock has been poor at crossing since he was signed). I thought the game was crying out for one of the CB’s to come off and go all out for the 3 points. Shame as Hull were dogshit.

Take a look back and watch the times when we did get behind them - and through then and over them

Our forwards couldn’t and didn’t hit a barn door last night - done I’d our play was great and sure we also hit some stray passes at times

We should’ve left Jebbo at Burton, he’d be learning infinitely more than he is on our bench. What was the fucking point recalling him if you aren’t going to throw him on when you need a goal against bastard Hull City?

100% agree. Hecky has done well overall but his substitutions are mind blowing. 2-0 at Preston and everyone could see their midfield number 8 pushing past us… only needed to take off a striker and put Ozzy on and we never draw that game. I thought at Huddersfield Jebbo should have been given the last 20 mins and why we only used 2 subs last night is ridiculous. Hecky said it was frustrating but he is causing some of it. Young Jebbo has scored 8 was in form and knows where the goal is. Our No9 can’t kick a ball properly. Annoying !

Ndiaye’s quality and will only get better still pretty young but he needs to work on his finishing for sure.

He does, but in fairness to him, he has at least scored a few this season (his first ever season), unlike others.

Berge should've been on at 60 mins, and I probably wouldn't have took off Hourihane for him either, he was having a decent game and Norwood a nightmare.

I thought there were too many crosses on the floor and each one didn't get past the first man. This surely can't be something they practice? Beat a defender then smack it into the first opposing player. No pull backs. No floaters to the back. No midrife high causing deflections?

Hm, followed up by defeats to Preston, Derby and Fulham. Then they come to the Lane - take a point boys.
Arguably the second worst side I've seen at the lane this season, and we haven't beaten them.

You have to play what's in front of you on the night.

You're right about their previous form but on last night's showing, Hull were dreadful and it was 2 points lost on our part. No issues with going to a decent Huddersfield team away from home in terrible conditions and coming away with a point but last night's mob were there for the taking.

I the mgw effort that deflected over the bar had deflected in and we won one nil none of these discussions would be taking place , we had enough chances last night to win three games so it wasn’t that bad a performance was it

Hecky done a good job in my opinion, needs get Jebbo in the team for you know who, his pace and clinical finishing would have worried the Hull defence , McBurnie apparently better in the air,
Top 6 a possibility but need some goals from other than Billy, defensively we are solid, midfield better than most in the championship but come on let’s sort out the strikers
